Hail clarity! For an ethics of the doubt

On the Facebook page romapoesia / poetic we got this message from Anna Ferramosca:

to Maria Teresa Carbone and Franca Rovigatti: it would be corrected as part of your hard work certainly, in the state program, or opening day, though belatedly, the criteria for inclusion of women poets invited to ROMAPoesia: reputation, curriculum, quality Writing rec ... onosciuta? how and by whom? or just a "taste"? are not a lot of the unjustified, even Roman! why do not publicize the event being organized by inviting all interested writers to participate in the "selection" on criteria stated?
That's what Anna and respond to the many who have asked the same question:
embark on this wonderful adventure that is poetic,
knew from the beginning that the largest node was one of the exclusions that we
had to make: choosing criteria
also very strict, and we did, we would indeed find
forced to the very limits of the budget, to leave out some
we wanted to invite, that would have seemed "right" for the festival
. As we were so aware that we even thought of in advance
send a letter to the "excluded", explaining the situation and
somehow asking for clemency and a
participation in deferred. We have not written this letter because
would have entailed additional exclusions, but even more because
it seemed clear that however, everything we had
said and done, there would have been possible to overcome the problem.
And then, we went forward, and reading and discussing the end
trying to insert in this first edition of poetry (because
other there will be) a choice as wide as possible, which were to compare
generations, backgrounds, different scripts. Very few,
four in all, we have said no for various reasons, but we hope
have him with us next year and, before that, the cycle of
meetings at libraries that follow the Roman festival. So
as we hope to have with us the "other", which is (as we well know)
many, many - as a demonstration of how vital today
writing of women in Italy, and then to what are the right
premises that our survey.
